This Burdekin 3 prefab home by was installed by the Westbuilt team on the client’s site in 2013. This lovely 4-bedroom home also features a formal entry and portico, standalone Colorbond shed and a large rear awning which doubles as an entertainment area.

OVERALL DESIGN NOTES

As you view this design you will no doubt think – what are the extras? So, to help you figure this out we’ve listed the main extras and features these clients choose to include in their home. You can also check out the plan here! 

FULL WRAP AROUND VERANDAHS AND ENTRY PORTICO

The clients required a completed wrap around verandah. The verandahs are 2.4m wide with oiled hardwood decking and insulated panel roofing. You will also notice the solid hardwood stairs leading onto the verandahs which are standard on the “Gold” level of inclusions.

To make the entry really “pop” the clients have also added an entry portico to the front of the home.

ROOF DESIGN & CEILING HEIGHTS

The clients choose to go with a standard 14-degree roof pitch on this home. To create the look, they also needed hip gables to added. The ceiling height of this home is also out standard 2.4m or 8 foot.

MODULE WIDTH

The Burdekin 3 home features a 9.0m wide home width. This means all the modules are 4.5m wide which does lead to an increase in transport cost. For reference, the most cost-effective module width is 4.0m wide.

WEATHERTEX EXTERIOR CLADDING

The exterior of this relocatable home near Wandoan QLD features Weathertex Old Colonial Smooth cladding. This durable and tough cladding is painted in the client’s choice of colour. You will also notice the pained window sills under the windows. These essential features really add a finishing touch to the home and highlight the care the team take in complete every home nicely.

HARDWOOD DECKING

INSULATED PANEL ROOFING

You will no doubt notice the Colorbond shed and large standalone covered awning area. These clients choose to install these items themselves. Many of our clients choose to get the Westbuilt team to organise these items for them as well!

4 BEDROOMS PLUS A STUDY AND A PLAYROOM!

This home features 4 lovely spacious bedrooms plus an office. The Main bedroom features a huge ensuite and walk-in-robe plus there is a roomy playroom off the living area!

BEAUTIFUL CUSTOM-MADE KITCHEN

Check out the lovely custom made laminate kitchen! You will be very interested to know that apart from the free-standing cooker and canopy rangehood this kitchen is just a “standard” Westbuilt kitchen! We also work with our clients to custom design the kitchen to suit their exact needs.

FLOORCOVERINGS

This home features standard “vinyl plank” flooring through the living areas and hallways. The clients have picked one of the standard Westbuilt carpet selections to put through the bedrooms.
