They suggested things that we probably wouldn’t have even thought of and yet we use these things every day now and we think to ourselves - “Gee we are glad that they came up with those suggestions!"
Baralaba is where I grew up as a child…so you will know that it is allegorical when a fellow gets old, he wants to go back to his roots. I had a cattle property there that I grew up on. Over thirty years later, I went back and bought the same farm back again.
All my life, I’ve done business with people, and from all the people that I have done business with, I would say that Westbuilt Homes would probably be the best people that I have done business with. Not once did they give me a single excuse. Not once did they put the price up for some strange reason. Everything they said they were going to do, not only did they do it, they did it better than I expected them to do it. To say that we were over pleased would be an understatement.
They let us do anything we wanted to do with the house, that was the strange thing. We thought at first that they had set models that we had to abide by. But every time that we wanted something, they would come back and they would redesign it. It is designed to exactly what we wanted including things that I was thinking - “Well they won’t do this and they won’t do that”.
But they did everything I wanted to do. They gave me a peaked roof. They gave me a hidden doorway, which I like going out of the library into the little writing room. They had a verandah going all the way around. They had a long dining room with beautiful floorboards. They put toilets where we wanted them to be. They put washrooms and bathrooms. Even thinking about such things as heated handrails.

And as far as buying a house anywhere in Australia now. If I was building a house anywhere…I would be disappointed if I wasn’t able to use Westbuilt.
